AIRPORT PROTECTION - WATER, FOAM & POWDER VEHICLES FOR AIRPORT FIRE BRIGADES
BAI range of fire fighting vehicles includes also airport firefighting trucks: RAPID INTERVENTION, HIGH EXTINGUISHING CAPACITY, SPECIAL CHASSIS (FOAM CRASH TENDERS) and RESCUE STAIRWAY VEHICLES. They are all conceived to give adequate means of dealing as fast and safe as possible in any case of a crash situation: innovative features, the research of the best materials and state-of-the art technology.

INDUSTRIAL PROTECTION - FOAM & POWDER VEHICLES for INDUSTRIAL FIRE BRIGADES
The main task of BAI industrial firefighting vehicles is to counteract the specific dangers arising from areas having high risk of fire such as petrochemical industries, power and nuclear plants, ports.
The diversity and the concentration of the risks within the industrial sector, have necessitated the development of vehicles using all types of extinguishing agents: water, foam and powder.

HYDRAULIC PLATFORMS FOR ELEVATED RESCUE
A Hydraulic Platform (HP) is a large fire appliance used mainly to efficiently rescue from high rise tower blocks and other tall buildings. It is essentially a large crane fitted with a caged platform which can be hoisted to heights well over 30 metres in some cases.
The platform is raised to windows or balconies to rescue stranded persons. The appliance is also capable of pumping water and as such occasionally these units are also used to direct hose reel water jets into a fire from an elevated position.
BAI VPI Hydraulic Platforms range includes firefighting and rescue platforms from 18 to 54 m working height, complete with high technology for electronics, checking and mixing devices.
TECHNICAL RESCUE OPERATIONS
BAI VP Rescue trucks are multi-purpose vehicles primarly designed for technical rescue situations such as car accidents, rope rescues, swiftwater rescues or building collapses. Technical rescue refers therefore to those aspects of saving life or property that employ the use of tools and skills that exceed those normally reserved for fire fighting, medical emergency, and rescue.
Special attention is given to the equipment disposition inside the superstructure as it is determining for the rapidity and efficiency of the intervention. BAI Rescue vehicles are produced only after a careful technical evaluation, a choice of materials and after an accurate selection of top quality equipments.
FOREST and RURAL PROTECTION: WILDLAND FIRE APPLIANCES
Wildlands firefighting requires unique vehicles that can climb mountain roads and hills, be self-reliant an have high clearances for wheels and suspension. Wildland fire apparatus may have lower capacities to carry water but can be deployed to fight fires in environments where urban fire trucks would be unable to operate due to rugged terrain.
The need for top off-road performance, manoeuvrability, ability to climb, small dimensions and low weight, rule out the carrying of large amounts of extinguishing agents.
High, or extra high-pressure systems assure an outstanding extinguishing capacity, the maximum throw distances as well as an optimum use of water.
