May 2013. The New Heliport Fire Fighting Vehicle, BAI model "VSA 2400 M / DP 100", is currently under delivery to operate in 1° NEC Volpiano (Turin) Heliport. The fire truck is intended for personnel to operate fire-fighting and rescue operations on damaged helicopters, to provide the extinction of any eventual fire and to recover the crew and passengers. It can also be used in other rescue operations such as cars accidents, forest fires, etc. BAI Heliport Fire Fighting Vehicle is suitable for helicopters stations of "H2" category.
