The first unit of BAI VSPE 14 M model, on the MB Unimog U5023 chassis, has been delivered.

The first unit of BAI VSPE 14 M model, on Mercedes Benz Unimog U5023 4x4 chassis, was delivered today to the Fire Brigade of Bologna. This is the first vehicle of a supply agreement of 48 units, stipulated with the Italian Ministry of the Interior.
The BAI VSPE 14 M model is a two-axle vehicle with all-wheel drive, designed and manufactured for the transport of demountable modules suitable for fighting forest fires.
The Unimog U5023 chassis allows maximum traction off-road, while maintaining excellent vehicle stability even in critical conditions.
From 2021 BAI Brescia Antincendi International is “UnimogPartner by Mercedes-Benz”. It is a recognition of BAI's high level of Quality, Service, Sales and Technical Support, requested by Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks from body builders for the construction of superstructures on MB chassis.
