German Fire Brigade Association visits BAI

On 25th July 2024, the Federal Managing Director of the German Fire Brigade Association (DFV), Mr. Rudolf Römer, paid a visit to the BAI production plant in Brescia (Italy), not far from the south-western shore of Lake Garda. During his visit, the Federal Managing Director was given the opportunity to gain a personal impression of BAI's product portfolio and production capacity.
After a brief welcome and presentation of the company BAI Srl and its subsidiary BAI Sonderfahrzeuge GmbH supported by a PowerPoint presentation, Mr. Römer was able to see BAI's modern production facility on over 30,000 m². With a workforce of approx. 250 employees and a current production capacity of approx. 300 vehicles per year, fire-fighting, airport, rescue and other special vehicles for local authorities, industry as well as the armed forces are manufactured in BAI on four production lines. Mr. Römer was given a detailed insight into the areas of 3D CAD design, component and body production, final assembly lines, the after-sales area and other departments.
The company BAI Srl and its subsidiary BAI Sonderfahrzeuge GmbH were very pleased about the visit of the Federal Managing Director of the German Fire Brigade Association (DFV), Mr. Rudolf Römer, and are convinced that Mr. Römer will take some very interesting impressions back to Berlin, e.g. about the possibilities of BAI to process large orders, beyond the 100 pieces on the BAI production lines.
