“Command Unit”
INCIDENT SUPPORT UNIT: COMMAND UNIT
At large protracted incidents a Command Unit (CU) is normally deployed to the scene as a muster point and communication centre for Senior Commanders to monitor and co-ordinate resources.
Essentially a command unit is a command centre, telecommunications hub, and office on wheels. Senior Commanders also liaise with other emergency services from there.
